Last Friday Brandon Lake released a new album titled "Coat Of Many Colors"

This is definitely a very diverse and unique album, styles that aren't so familiar on the modern ccm scene, which fits the idea of "Many Colors."

The Meaning & Making of the coat:

"When God gave me the vision and title for this next album, Coat of Many Color, I knew immediately I had to have my own coat made. There was one perfect person in my mind who I knew would bring this coat to life. The one and only Greg Lauren. Honestly it would take a miracle to get ahold of Greg as we are in two separate worlds, BUT, God made this dream a reality! Greg's work has inspired me the past few years as he takes "rags" and turns them into "riches." Taking discarded garments, a kaleidoscope of seemingly random cloths and fabrics that hold stories and history and he brings to life a new piece that can be worn with pride. I wanted a coat that looked like it'd been through some "pits" but when worn, felt like you were clothed in royalty and the pride of my Heavenly Father and that's exactly what we were able to create. My personal favorite in the album is split between "Miracle Child" & "Count 'Em"!
